Dohop is led by a team of individuals with management backgrounds from the information technology and travel service industries.

Kristjan Gudni Bjarnason

Chief Executive Officer

Kristjan has worked in software development and project management since graduation. He co-founded Gangverk, a software contractor. Prior to joining dohop, Kristjan was the CTO at the Icelandic Meteorology office. Kristjan holds an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Atli Thorbjornsson

Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder

Prior to founding Dohop, Atli had worked in software development and project management for more than ten years. He co-founded Gangverk, a software contractor. Atli holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and an Airline Transport Pilot License.

Jon Thorvaldsson

VP of Airline Solutions

Jon brings to Dohop more than a decade of experience of managing technical projects and teams. Most recently at Glitnir Bank where he managed the eBusiness and software development departments for several years. Jon holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from University of Iceland and an MBA degree from Reykjavik University.

David Gunnarsson

VP of Marketing

Before coming to Dohop David spent three years at Kaupthing Bank doing research, equity trading and investor relations. David was previously the Chairman of the Student Council of the University of Iceland. He studied computer science, economics, and finance at the University of Iceland and the University of Iowa.

Frosti Sigurjonsson

Chairman and Co-Founder

Prior to founding Dohop, Frosti was the CEO of Nyherji an IT services company and IBM and SAP business partner. Earlier roles include financial director, marketing manager and financial consultant mostly with technology companies. Frosti has served as chairman and board member of several companies and organizations and holds an MBA degree from the London Business School.
